Nepal COVID-19 Updatre: 1,414 new cases of coronavirus infection

KATHMANDU:- The Ministry of Health and Population has recorded 1,442 new cases of coronavirus infection in the country in the last 24 hours. Such number was found after the PCR test conducted on 6,731 persons.

With the latest update, the total number of infected people has so far reached 212,917 in Nepal. In the last 24 hours, 3,538 people got rid of coronavirus infection. It has reached the total number of recovery 182,780.
The recovery is 85.8 percent of the total infection. Currently, there are 28,878 active cases of virus. Among them, 26,421 are staying in home isolation while 326 receiving treatment at ICU and 54 in ventilators.
There are more than 500 infected people in Jhapa, Morang, Sunsari, Kathmandu, Bhaktapur, Lalitpur, Chitwan, Kavrepalanchowk, Kaski, Dang, Rupandehi, Palpa and Kailali. Manang district has not a single case of infection.
In the last 24 hours, 12 people lost lives to Covid-19, thereby totaling the death 1,259 in the country.
