Nepal Covid-19 Update: Corona infection in another 2,676 people, 33 deaths


N24 Correspondent, KATHMANDU:- In the last 24 hours, an additional 2,676 people have been confirmed infected with the coronavirus.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 8,256 PCR tests confirmed 1,782 and 4,512 antigen tests tested positive for 2,976 people, including 894.

Another 33 people have died from the corona infection and 1,757 have been cleared of the infection.

Of the 26,639 active infected people, 24,025 are in home isolation and 2,614 are in hospital.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 339 cases of corona have been reported in Kathmandu, 155/155 in Chitwan and Kaski, 134 in Lalitpur, 105 in Morang, and 87 in Sunsari.

Similarly, 80 in Bhaktapur, 58 in Nawalparasi East, 57 in Jhapa, 48 in Sindhupalchowk, 41/41 in Kavrepalanchok, and Gorkha, 38 in Syangja, 37 in Nuwakot, 36 in Dolakha, 35/35 in Makwanpur and Rupandehi have been infected.

Similarly, 22/22 cases of corona infection have been confirmed in Baglung and Bardiya, 19 in Kailali, 17 in Banke, 15 in Dhading, 14/14 in Dhankuta and Dang, 11/11 in Khotang and Tanahu, and 10/10 in Dailekh and Surkhet.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 56 children under the age of 10 have been infected with corona and 152 people in the age group of 11 to 20 years have been infected with the disease.
