Nepal Covid-19 Update: Corona infection confirmed in 3,383 people, 24 died


N24 Correspondent, KATHMANDU:- Coronavirus infection has been confirmed in 3,383 people in the last 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, corona infection was found in 935 people out of 2 thousand 448 and 6 thousand 80 antigens tested in 10 thousand 638 samples.

In the last 24 hours, 24 more people have died from corona infection and 1,994 have been cured.

The total number of corona infections in Nepal has reached 765,815. Out of which 9 thousand 922 people have died and 660 thousand 116 people have been free from infection.

Of the actively infected people across the country, 29,022 are in home isolation. Similarly, out of 3,037 people in institutional isolation, 686 are undergoing treatment in ICU and 162 in ventilator.

Of the corona infected in the last 24 hours, 904 are from Kathmandu Valley. Of them, 613 are infected in Kathmandu, 177 in Lalitpur and 114 in Bhaktapur.

According to the ministry, 226 people have contracted corona in Jhapa, 164 in Chitwan, 137 in Morang, 125 in Makwanpur, 121 in Sunsari and 103 in Kaski. Similarly, 79 people have been infected in Nawalparasi East, 61 in Rupandehi, 54 in Baglung, 53 in Kavre, 34 in Dolakha, 24/24 in Dhading and Dang, 23 in Nuwakot and 22 in Palpa.
