Nepal Covid-19 Update: Corona infection confirmed in 1558 people, 10 deaths


N24 Correspondent, KATHMANDU:- In the last 24 hours, an additional 1,558 people have been infected with the coronavirus (Covid-19). According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 8,6654 samples of PCR were tested across the country and 1,086 and 3,720 antigens were tested and 472 were infected.

1351 people have been infected. There are 25,497 actively infected across the country.

Of them, 117 are undergoing treatment in the ventilator and 386 in the ICU. 1547 are in institutional isolation and 23 thousand 950 are in home isolation. Ten people have died in the last 24 hours.

With the addition on Friday, the total number of corona infections in Nepal has reached 783,075. At the same time, the death toll in Nepal has reached 11,012 and 746,566 people have been declared free of infection.

Similarly, 31 children under the age of 10 have contracted corona infection while 93 people in the age group of 11 to 20 years have contracted corona infection.
