Nepal Covid-19 update: Another 2421 infected, 3558 free of infection


N24 Correspondent, KATHMANDU:- Coronavirus infection has been confirmed in 2421 people in the last 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 7,461 PCR tests confirmed the infection in 1,511 cases and 4,953 in the antigen test, 910 cases, and 2,421 cases.

A further 81 people died from the corona infection, said spokesman Krishna Poudel. Of these, 52 have died in the last 24 hours.

He said the remaining 29 deaths were not included in the previous statistics.

In the last 24 hours, 3558 people have been infected.

The number of actively infected people across the country is 50,520.

Out of which 47246 are in home isolation and 3 thousand 234 are in home isolation.

In the last 24 hours, 497 people have been found infected in Kathmandu Valley.

Of them, 346 are in Kathmandu district, 97 in Lalitpur, and 57 in Bhaktapur, the ministry said in a regular press conference.
