Nepal COVID-19 update: 6,734 new cases, with three deaths

KATHMANDU:- Corona Virus infection has been confirmed in 6,734 new people across the country in the last 24 hours. This was found in 17,465 samples tested, according to the Ministry of Health and Population.
Likewise, during the period 547 people have recovered from corona virus. With this, the number of those who have recovered has reached 816,985. The recovery rate is 95.1 percent. According to the ministry, so far 859,485 people have been found infected through the RT-PCR method and 102,455 through antigen tests in Nepal. The infection rate is 17.1 percent.
Currently, the number of active cases of COVID-19 is 30,877. Of them, 29,705 are in home-isolation, 1,172 in institutional-isolation and 100 in quarantine. There are 26 people with support of ventilator and 139 in the ICU.
At present, the districts with more than 500 active infections are Morang, Sunsari, Kathmandu, Lalitpur, Bhaktapur, Chitwan, Kaski, Rupandehi, Kailali and Dang. Of the three districts in the valley, there are 13,986 active cases in Kathmandu, 3,555 in Lalitpur and 1,846 in Bhaktapur.
Meanwhile, three people have died from COVID-19 in the past 24 hours. So far, the death toll from Corona Virus has reached 11,623. The death rate from corona is 1.4 percent.
Also today, 143,360 people were vaccinated against COVID-19.
