Nepal Covid-19 Update: 641 new cases, 134 recoveries and 2 deaths in 24 hours

In the last 24 hours, 172 corona infections have been found in Kathmandu Valley. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 126 people were found infected in Kathmandu, 38 in Lalitpur, and eight in Bhaktapur.

KATHMANDU:- The ministry’s spokesperson Jageshwor Gautam in his daily press briefing said 641 new COVID-19 cases confirmed in Nepal in the past 24 hours. Of them, 173 are from the Kathmandu Valley.

In the last 24 hours, 172 corona infections have been found in Kathmandu Valley. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 126 people were found infected in Kathmandu, 38 in Lalitpur, and eight in Bhaktapur.

 2 new deaths of COVID-19 positive patients in Nepal. 1 male from parsa and 1 female from Morang. The total number of death of COVID-19 positive patients in Nepal has reached 104.

The total number of COVID-19 confirmed cases in Nepal reached 26,660.  Meanwhile,134 COVID-19 patients have been discharged from respective hospitals recently after their recovery. The total number of recovered cases has reached 17,335(which is 65% of total confirmed cases) in Nepal.  The other 9,221 cases are active currently, of them 8,724 are isolated in hospitals across the country. The rest 497 are in home isolation. Likewise, 100 are in intensive care units and six are on ventilators.

12,247 RT-PCR was done in the last 24 hours in Nepal.
