
KATHMANDU:- In the last 24 hours, the country recorded that 347 persons contracted coronavirus while two persons lost life.
A total of 3,888 sample tests were conducted during this period, according to the Ministry of Health and Population. Similarly, the ministry informed that 95 infected persons got recovery of late.
The recovery rate stands at 98.5 percent.
Meanwhile, 78,228 persons got anti-COVID vaccines. There are a total of 3,177 active cases of coronavirus in the country.
So far, the country recorded the COVID related deaths at 11,956. Currently, there are 3,035 infected ones staying in home isolation, 142 in institutional isolation, 22 in ICU and two on ventilator support.
Kathmandu is the only district having more than 500 infected persons, while Lalitpur and Morang districts have more than 200 infected persons.
The districts having zero case of coronavirus infection are Manang, Mustang, Jajarkot, Kalikot, Mugu, Humla, Bajura and Dadeldhura. Kathmandu district alone has 763 infected persons, Lalitpur 313 and Bhaktapur 89.
