    Nepal Covid-19 update: 303 new cases of coronavirus infection

    KATHMANDU:- A total of 303 new cases of coronavirus infection were recorded while conducting PCR test on 4,574 individuals in the country in the past 24 hours. The Kathmandu valley alone recorded 172 new cases of infection on Tuesday.
    According to the Ministry of Health and Population, with these new cases, the total number of infected persons reached 270,092. Similarly, 285 infected persons recovered in the country in the same period. The total recovery stands at 264,823 so far.
    According to the Ministry, Covid-19 recovery percent is 98.1. The Ministry further shared that of the total active infection, 749 are undergoing treatment at ICU while 139 in ventilator support in different parts of the country. Six infected persons died on Tuesday.
    With this, total deaths caused by virus infection have reached 2,017 in the country.
