
By N24 STAFF WRITER, KATHMANDU:- In a routine press conference today by the Ministry of Health and Population, Ministry’s Spokesperson Dr. Jageshwor Gautam shared that a total of 902 new COVID-19 cases and 6 new deaths of COVID-19 Patients have been confirmed in Nepal.
According to him, the COVID-19 death toll has reached 306 in Nepal. Now, the total number of COVID-19 confirmed cases in Nepal reached 48,138.
396 added case in the valley; 300 in Kathmandu, 38 in Lalitpur, 58 in Bhaktapur according to Dr. Jageshwor Gautam.
Now, the total number of COVID-19 positive patients in Nepal has reached 14,868 in Nepal. In the last 24 hours, 10,611 RT-PCR tests conducted in the different labs across the country. so far 7,88,174 people have been tested in the country.
Meanwhile, 2,287 COVID-19 patients have been discharged from respective hospitals recently after recovery across Nepal. After this, the total number of recovered cases has reached 32,964 around (68.5 % )of the total confirmed cases in Nepal.
The disease has spread across all 77 districts of the country. There are 11 districts with 500+ active cases; Mahottari, Parsa, Rautahat, Morang, Dhanusha, Sarlahi, Kathmandu, Lalitpur, Bara, Chitwan, Rupandehi.
