Nepal COVID-19 update: 20 new cases, 27 recoveries


KATHMANDU:- The country reported 20 new cases of COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.

The Ministry of Health and Population said that the new cases were confirmed from 3,222 sample tests conducted during the same period.

Likewise, 27 individuals recovered from the flu-like infection in the past 24 hours. With this, a total of 966,656 persons recovered from COVID-19 till today. The recovery rate stands at 98.8 per cent.

The Ministry said no casualty was reported from the infection in the past 24 hours. Likewise, altogether 29,574 people received vaccines against COVID-19 today alone.

Currently, there are 221 active cases of Coronavirus infection in the country.
