
KATHMANDU:- A whopping 10,258 new cases of COVID-19 were reported in the past 24 hours in the country. The new infections were revealed in only 22,828 samples tested, including 17,872 through RT-PCR and 4,956 through antigen tests.
This takes the total number of infections to 868,215 through PCR method and 103,983 through antigen method, according to the Ministry of Health and Population.
The number of active cases of COVID-19 in the country has climbed to 39,044.
Also today, 562 infected recovered while one person died of COVID-19.
Meanwhile, 213,148 people were vaccinated against COVID-19 in the country today.
