Nepal Covid-19 update: 1,359 new cases, 14 deaths in 24 hours

By N24 STAFF WRITER, KATHMANDU:-  In a routine press conference today by the Ministry of Health and Population, Ministry’s Spokesperson Dr. Jageshwor Gautam shared that a total of 1359 new COVID-19 cases (Highest single day new cases) and 14 new deaths of COVID-19 Patients have been confirmed in Nepal.

According to him, the COVID-19 death toll has reached 271 in Nepal. Now, the total number of COVID-19 confirmed cases in Nepal reached 44,236.

Meanwhile 454 added case in the valley. 386 in Kathmandu, 32 in Lalitpur, 36 in Bhaktapur. Now, the total number of COVID-19 positive patients in Nepal has reached 18,404 in Nepal. In the last 24 hours, 13,638 RT-PCR tests conducted in the different labs across the country. so far 7,45,490 people have been tested in the country.

Meanwhile,1,354 COVID-19 patients have been discharged from respective hospitals recently after recovery across Nepal. After this, the total number of recovered cases has reached 25,561  around (58 % )of the total confirmed cases in Nepal.

The disease has spread across all 77 districts of the country. There are 11 districts with 500+ active cases; Mahottari, Parsa, Rautahat, Morang, Dhanusha, Sarlahi, Kathmandu, Lalitpur, Bara, Chitwan, Rupandehi.
