Nepal Communist Party against appointments in constitutional bodies

Stating that the present government was a caretaker one since dissolving the House of Representatives, leader Pampha Bhusal on the occasion argued that it could not make such appointments including reshuffling of the cabinet.

KATHMANDU: The Nepal Communist Party (NCP) led by the Dahal-Nepal group has protested against the appointment in the constitutional bodies. The party organised a press conference today where it termed the appointments as unconstitutional and forcefully done.
President Bidya Devi Bhandari today, on the recommendation of the government, appointed office-bearers to various constitutional bodies including the Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority and Election Commission. Stating that the present government was a caretaker one since dissolving the House of Representatives, leader Pampha Bhusal on the occasion argued that it could not make such appointments including reshuffling of the cabinet.
