Nepal becoming ‘failed state’ due to Bigwig, claims CP Mainali

CHITWAN:
CPN (ML) General Secretary CP Mainali has claimed the country is becoming a ‘failed state’ due to big parties’ greed for state power.
Addressing the party’s national conference organizing committee meeting in Chitwan on Sunday, leader Mainali accused the three major parties- the UCPN (Maoist), Nepali Congress and CPN ( UML)– of pushing the country towards crisis.
He claimed the big parties cannot give the nation new constitution on time until and unless they gave up their greed for power.
“The Congress and CPN (UML) have also started becoming irresponsible towards the people’s agendas, by believing the UCPN( Maoist)”, he said and added that his party has been exerting pressure to the major parties for formation of a national unity government. “No agreement that are against the CA are acceptable for the party”, he said.
