NEFEJ to organize ESD film festival


KATHMANDU: The Nepal Forum of Environmental Journalists (NEFEJ) is to organize film festival on the theme of environment, education and sustainable development in five different places out of the Kathmandu Valley.

The objective of the film festival dubbed as the ESD Fil Festival is to share experiences among the peopleof the rural areas on issues of the environment, education and sustainable development through audio visual medium.
As per the schedule, the film festival will be held in Ilam on June 18 and 19, in Itahari on June 20 and 21, in Chitwan on June 24 and 25, in Bardiya on June 28 and 29 and in Surkhet on July 1 and 2.

Nepali language films made in Nepal and abroad would be screened as part of the festival. Documentary films on the theme of environment, education and sustainable development from Nepal, India, Cambodia, Laos, Thailand and the Philippines will be screened, according to NEFEJ. RSS
