KATHMANDU: The Standing Committee meeting of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) has concluded for today. The next meeting will be held on July 4.
Narayan Kaji Shrestha, the NCP spokesperson, informed after the meeting that those standing committee members who put forth their views today expressed assumption whether the party was facing a critical condition for its unity and underscored the need of mutual talks and discussions among top leadership for protecting and strengthening party unity at any cost.
He said that the leaders emphasized on talks among top leadership at the earliest, today or tomorrow.
The meeting has for the same reason postponed until July 4.
Even today, the standing committee meeting of the ruling party had resumed after deferring for a while. The meeting had resumed after party chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ returned to the meeting after hold a meeting with President Bidya Devi Bhandari.
