NCP-Prachanda-Nepal faction protesting in Kathmandu today

Due to the demonstrations and protests, the traffic in the valley is going to be chaotic today.

N24 Staff Writer, KATHMANDU:- The Prachanda-Nepal faction of the Nepal Communist Party (NCP) is going to hold a demonstration in Kathmandu today.

According to the NCP, the protest will start at 11 am in different parts of Kathmandu and will be addressed by the top leaders.

The Nepal Communist Party (NCP) is divided into two factions after Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli dissolved the House of Representatives on December 19. Oli and Prachanda-Nepal are holding separate factions.

Prachanda and Nepal had jointly issued a video message on Tuesday appealing for participation in today’s demonstration.

Prachanda-Nepal leader Jhala Nath Khanal has claimed that 200,000 people will take to the streets in today’s protest.

Due to the demonstrations and protests, the traffic in the valley is going to be chaotic today.

The protest by the Prachanda-Nepal faction of the NCP in the capital against the dissolution of the House of Representatives by Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli on December 19 will affect the traffic inside the ring road.

The NCP has informed that the procession will be led by various leaders from Pulchowk, Tripureshwor, Maitighar, Keshar Mahal, and Jamal.

Standing committee members Krishna Bahadur Mahara, Pampha Bhusal, Raghuji Pantal, and others will lead the procession from Pulchowk.
