NCP Prachanda-Madhav faction proposed Congress to lead the upcoming government

Prachanda and Nepal had talked with Deuba about moving forward after reaching an understanding.

N24 Staff Writer, KATHMANDU:- Nepal Communist Party, (NCP) chairpersons Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ and Madhav Kumar Nepal have met Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba and offered to lead the upcoming government.

During a meeting between the three leaders at Deuba’s residence in Budhanilkantha on Wednesday, Nepal Communist Party, (NCP) chairpersons Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ and Madhav Kumar Nepal proposed Sher Bahadur Deuba to lead the next government.

According to Deuba’s personal secretary Bhanu Deuba, Prachanda-Nepal discussions with President Deuba focused on the evolving political situation and how to move forward.

“We have talked about moving forward by holding discussions in our respective parties,” Deuba told Media.

They have agreed to meet again through internal discussions.

Prachanda and Nepal had talked with Deuba about moving forward after reaching an understanding.

Deuba has said that he will reach a decision only after holding discussions in the party.

Along with this, party president Deuba has also called a meeting of party officials. He informed that a meeting of office bearers was called at 3 pm on Thursday.
