N24 Staff Writer, KATHMANDU:- The standing committee meeting of the Nepal Communist Party (NCP)-Oli faction has decided to accept the decision of the Supreme Court.
Accepting the court’s decision, it was decided to convene a meeting of the parliament within the time limit set by the court, said NCP Oli faction spokesperson and Minister for Foreign Affairs Pradip Kumar Gyawali.
Gyawali said, ‘It has been decided to convene a parliamentary session on time. The meeting will be held within the time limit given by the supreme court verdict’.
In the meantime, discussions will be held with other political parties, he said. The Supreme Court on Tuesday overturned the decision to dissolve parliament and ordered a meeting within 13 days.
He said that after this decision, it was decided to convene a meeting of the central committee and the parliamentary party to discuss the situation of the party further. “A central committee meeting and a party meeting will be convened soon to discuss the overall situation,” Gyawali said.
The meeting also decided to continue the mass meetings scheduled by the NCP Oli faction in different parts of the country.
