KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress (NC) has urged all the concerned stakeholders to do needful to help and rehabilitate the landslides and floods victims and to distribute relief materials.

Issuing a statement on Saturday, NC said that dozens of people were killed, hundreds went missing and properties worth millions were reduced to rubble in the floods and landslides triggered by incessant rainfall over the past two days across the nation.

NC expressed deep sorrow over landslides and floods victims and wished for the eternal peace of the departed souls and expressed heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family.

Normal life has been adversely affected following obstruction of roads, telephone, electricity and lack of basic needs, NC commented.
