KATHMANDU:- The Nepali Congress parliamentary party has expressed regrets over the incident of violent clash that occurred at Pulchowk on Thursday between the locals and the police on the topic of pulling the chariot of the Rato Machchhindranath deity.

The chief whip of the party, Bal Krishna Khand, stated in a press release today that the sad incident happened due to the lack of the required coordination among all the sides concerned including the administration, the festival organizers and the local levels.
