NC expresses sorrow over dead in explosions in KTM

KATHMANDU: The Nepali Congress has expressed sorrow over the loss of many lives in bomb incidents at different places of Kathmandu Valley.
Issuing a press release on Sunday, NC Spokesperson Bishwo Prakash Sharma said that the blasts have terrorised the general public at a time when all forces should move ahead together to protect the achievements gained from the different people’s movements.
“The explosions have dented the wishes of Nepali people for taking the Nepali society forward in a smooth manner following the establishment of peace,” reads the statement.
The NC also urged the state and rebel sides to find a negotiation as no one can get victory from criminal activities. It also urged the Communist party of Nepal (CPN)-led by Netra Bikram Chand to give up politics of violence.
“The NC wishes may the departed soul of all the deceased rest in peace, and it urges government to provide medical treatment for the injured,” reads the statement.
