NC 14th General Convention: 878 votes cast till 2:30 pm


KATHMANDU:- A total of 878 votes have been cast till 2:30 pm in the ongoing voting process of the Nepali Congress (NC)’s 14th general convention, according to general convention media centre’s coordinator Dr Suresh Acharya.
A total of 487 candidates are contesting for 132 posts in the NC.
Leaders and the general convention representatives have queued up at the voting stations at the Rashtriya Sabha Griha and Bhrikutimandap for the voting.
The NC central election committee said that 343 votes were cast from Rastriya Sabhagriha while 535 others votes were cast from Bhrikutimandap till 2:30 pm.
It is said that an individual is taking almost 30 minutes to cast votes. The total number of NC general convention representatives is 4,743.
