KATHMANDU:- Nepal Army’s Departmental Team Tribhuvan Army Club has thrashed Chaudandigadhi Municipality of Udayapur 9-0 in a match under the second phase of the National Women’s League Football Tournament. The match was held at the ANFA Complex Satdobato in Lalitpur district on Saturday. Rashmi Ghising’s with four goals to her name helped Tribhuvan Army Club achieve the victory.
For the team, Sharmila Thapa contributed two goals and Bhujanga Rai and Anjali Ghising one each. Ghising scored goals in the 19th, 52nd, 60th and 63rd minute.
For Chaudandigadhi Municipality, Amit Lepcha scored an own goal. With this win, Tribhuvan Army Club has remained in second position with 16 points, while Chaudandigadhi is placed at bottom of the group with nil point. Likewise, other participating team Biratnagar Metropolitan City has reached third position with 10 points while Nepal Police Club in fourth position with eight points, Waling Municipality in the fifth position with eight points and Chandrapur Municipality in the sixth with three points.
