National Forces should unite to avoid interference of foreigners: Koirala

KATHMANDU: At a time 33-disgruntled parties including CPN-Maoist have been protesting against the move of holding election of the constituent assembly by Chief Justice led government and vowed to disrupt the election, President of Nepali Congress Sushil Koirala informed that the election of the constituent assembly will take place by November at any cost.

Stating that the fever of CA already gripped the country, Koirala added that nobody could check the election. Inaugurating the second National Convention of the Nepali Congress affiliated Muslim Sangh in Taulihawa, Koirala added that Maoist and Madhesi parties have been spreading rumor that Nepali Congress is not willing to go for Federalism, which is not true.

NC President Koirala criticized the statement of Chairperson of UCPN-Maoist Pushpa Kamal Dahal that China, India and Nepal should work jointly for the development of the country. He added that all the political parties should unite for the development of the country. “If all the political forces of the country get united foreigners could not interfere in the internal affairs of the country,” he added.

Congress President Koirala also welcomed over 100 persons, who entered into Nepali Congress after leaving different political parties. He provided party membership to them.
