Man Bahadur Rana Magar (New York): Vice President of National Academy for the Emancipation of Ethnic Nationalities, Jhak Bahadur Magar, has called on simultaneously organizing awareness and protest programs to ensure the rights of various nationalities and ethnic groups in Nepal.
Speaking at an interaction program organized by Federation of Nepalese Indigenous People in America (FNIPA), Magar said that such parallel efforts were necessary in the present context so as to ensure the rights of the communities in the new constitution.
He further called on all Nepalese diasporas residing in the states to support the cause intellectually, physically, morally and creat pressure on political parties to fulfill the aspirations of the community.
The program was presided by FNIPA’s acting President Binod Pomo.
