A bilateral memorandum of understanding was signed here on Friday between US-Nepal Traders’ Association and Nepal Chamber of Commerce with the objective of exporting Nepali products to the U.S.A.
The agreement is expected to unite all the Nepali entrepreneurs in the U.S., develop an outline of investment and promote the capacity of Nepali entrepreneurs, according to a press statement released by the Chamber.
At the program, President of the Chamber Suresh Kumar Basnet said Nepali products would be traded in all the 50 states of the USA while Secretary of the Association Prakash Thapa said the agreement would help create additional employment.
Outgoing President of the Chamber Surendrabir Malakar said the agreement between the traders of the two countries would prove a milestone in the export of Nepali goods to the US.
