More than a dozen people, including police, were injured in the clash in Sunsari after the death of the detainee


SUNSARI:- The District Police Office premises has become tense after the death of a detainee in police custody.
Mohammad Hakim Sah of Bhokraha-5, who was arrested on the charge of indecent behavior, was in custody during the investigation. According to the police, he committed suicide. More than a dozen people, including police, have been injured in the clash. The clash also damaged the structure of the police office and premises.
Police fired tear gas to control the situation after a group carrying sticks attacked the police.
Protesters have also blocked the east-west highway. He said that he did not understand the body saying that the police had deliberately killed the detainee.
Meanwhile, Chief of the District Police Office, Sunsari, Sanjay Singh Thapa said that it was not appropriate to attack the police as it was seen on CCTV cameras that he had committed suicide.
A large number of police have been deployed in the office and Inaruwa market area.
