Minister Yadav vows to work for the people

KATHMANDU:- Minister for Physical Infrastructure and Transport Renu Kumari Yadav has pledged to deliver results in the interest of the people.
Talking to journalists at her office Monday, Minister Yadav said that it was natural for public to be agitated when their development related aspirations are not fulfilled.
Instructing all the staffers not to be Kathmandu-centric only, Yadav asked them to routinely brief her about the progress relating to the projects undertaken by the Ministry.
She viewed that process to award contract to the contractors was erroneous, hence the development projects would hit a snag. As for the driving license, the Minister opined that the federal government should print driving license although the distribution and revenue collection relating to the same was being carried out by the provincial government.
Minister Yadav shared that electric buses would be operated in the Ring Road in Kathmandu Valley and Kurtha-Jaynagar Railway would be operative very soon.
Likewise, North-South Highway would be constructed as in East-West Highway, according to her.
