KATHMANDU: Minister for Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation Top Bahadur Rayamajhi has said that situation to dissolve the House of Representatives (HoR) was created as sudden attempts were made to oust the prime minister from within the party.
Addressing a meeting organised by Lumbini Province Committee of Press Organization Nepal, journalists’ association close to ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP), in Butwal on Friday, Rayamajhi said that the Dahal-Nepal faction in the party created hindrances to the government by working against the spirit of party unification. Against this background, the PM decided to go to the people by being dissolving the HoR, he added.
The Dahal-Nepal faction was pushed to the street for their wrong activities of targeting the PM by joining hands with the opponents, Minister Rayamajhi argued. In-charge of Press Organization Nepal and NCP central committee member Rajendra Gautam urged the media fraternity to disseminate factual information while remaining active for the country’s interest and political stability.
