KATHMANDU:- Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Prem Bahadur Ale, has warned of action against those involved in leasing out and using the property of Narayanhiti Durbar Museum in pittance.
Minister Ale reiterated that he would not spare anyone involved in illegal activities. He viewed it while inspecting the physical structures being created by Batas Group in premises of Narayanhiti Durbar Museum on Sunday. “There are many lapses in the permission given to run a restaurant in the Museum. The various structures were created without permission. Anyone working against law will not be spared,” he asserted.
He wondered how a cafeteria could be built by effacing the identity of Museum. It was found that dance restaurant and pub were being made in the museum, Minister Ale said after inspecting the museum on Sunday.
Batas Group is now under huge criticism after it created additional structures in the Museum, going beyond the agreement.
