KATHMANDU: The campaigners against HIV/AIDS have submitted a memorandum to the Embassy of China, Kathmandu, demanding it to offer more fund in the Fund for Global Health. 

Representatives of the Federation of National HIV/AIDS, AIDS Health Care Foundation and different other organizations submitted the memorandum.
After submitting the memorandum, Chairman of Federation of National HIV/AIDS, Achyut Sitaula, said that the Chinese took the issue positively.
In the memo, China has been asked to dole out the assistance amount as per its commitment to fight AIDS, TB and Malaria for the period of 2017 to 2019.
On the occasion, National Programme Coordination of AHF Nepal, Dipak Dhungel, said that the world was expecting much from China in the health care sector for being the second largest economy in the world.
As per the memorandum, China is asked to support 1 billion US dollars in the Global Fund to fight AIDS, TB and Malaria worldwide. RSS
