KATHMANDU: The House of Representatives has been constitutionally dissolved after the government could not be shaped according to Article 76, Clause 3 of the Constitution.
An emergency meeting of the Council of Ministers has met to dissolve the House of Representatives and set a date for new elections.
Spokesperson of the government Parbat Gurung told the Press that the government has fixed the date for the election of the House of Representatives on November 12 and recommended it to the President.
