
KATHMANDU: Reports of medical tests conducted so far on President Dr Ram Baran Yadav in a Tokyo hospital are normal and the attending doctors have advised for further tests.
Citing Professor Toshiaki Watanabe, the Vice-Director of the University of Tokyo Hospital, where Yadav has been admitted, a press statement issued today by Nepal’s embassy in Tokyo said “reports of all the tests carried out so far have been found normal”.
The statement also said the state head has been taking normal food and that he is absolutely fine
President Dr. Yadav has been admitted to the University of Tokyo Hospital since June 18. The doctors have recommended Dr. Yadav to stay in the hospital at least for two more days for the further tests.
Earlier, Dhapasi-based Grande Hospital had found out a lesion in his large intestine. On the recommendation of the Nepal government’s Medical Board, the President had gone to Japan for further diagnosis and treatment.
