MUMBAI:- Mahesh Manjrekar is a renowned director of Marathi films. He is also an actor and has directed dozens of Marathi films. He has made a Bollywood film ‘Antim’ with Salman Khan after a long time. The trailer of the film was released on Monday. It was no less challenging for him to shoot this film. Because, at that time, he was battling cancer.
He has lost 35 kg due to cancer. “I was diagnosed with cancer during the final schedule of filming,” he said in an interview. Today I am cancer free. I had chemotherapy during the filming. But, that didn’t affect me. Surgery was performed later. I had a passion for work that kept me strong. ‘
In the trailer public event, Salman Khan said that he had been diagnosed with cancer by Mahesh even before the film was shot. As soon as the film was shot, Mahesh started his treatment and today he is cancer free. Mahesh and Salman have a strong relationship. They have worked together in ‘Wanted, Dabangg, Dabangg 3’.
