Lightning claims one in Sindhuli, Nepal
SINDHULI: A mid-age man died after he was struck by lightning at Dudhauli Municipality-2 in Sindhuli district today.
According to the District Police Office, Sindhuli, Prem Bahadur Ghising, 49, was injured when a bolt of lightning hit him and died while undergoing treatment at a local health clinic. DSP Shyam Bahadur Khattri informed that the incident had taken place on Tuesday evening when the thunder strikes occurred along with the rainfall injured Ghising. He was immediately rushed to the nearest health facility where he breathed his last during the treatment.
