Following the extension of the deadline for the formation of national consensus for five more days, the major political parties are holding their internal discussions today. The leaders of the parties have claimed that they will come up with much anticipated national consensus before the arrival of the President Dr Ram Baran Yadav from his official India trip.
The ruling parties including the Maoist, United Democratic Madhesi Front are discussing the issue of government at the secretariat meeting of the Federal Democratic Republican Alliance (FDRA).
Likewise,Nepali Congress President Sushil Koirala is scheduled to hold parleys with the regional Presidents of the party after the closing program of the gathering of the regional presidents of the Congress.
The source at the UML office has informed that its leaders are slated to discuss upon the issue of change of the guard.
Though the major parties will hold internal meetings today, the leaders are likely to sit for the joint meeting only tomorrow.
