Reasoning that the major political parties have failed to forge consensus on the national consensus government, Madhesi Janadhikar Forum Nepal Chairperson Upendra Yadav has urged the President Dr Rambaran Yadav to take initiative for the formation of national consensus government.
He has also taken strong exception over the President’s consultations only with the major parties bypassing other fringe parties.
During a meeting with the President at the Shitalniwas on Wednesday, Leader Yadav demanded with the President to involve the Federal Democratic Party, an alliance of fringe opposition parties, while taking important decisions on national politics.
Leader Yadav said the Front urged the President to immediately take step to end the imbroglio.
The Front has been maintaining the stand that it would not accept the decision of the UCPN-Maoist, CPN-UML, and Nepali Congress on resolving national crisis.
