DADELDHURA:- Vehicular movement along the rural roads in Dadeldhura district has been disrupted after half dozens of roads are damaged by the landslides triggered with heavy rainfall for some days.
The roads linking various local levels are damaged badly, thereby causing sheer inconvenience to the people in movement and transportation of goods, said Ugratara Dadeldhura Transport Pvt.
Bagarkot-Rupal, Koteli-Dhankat, Dewal-Rajul, Koralkhola-Rel and Pokhara-Belapur roadways are not functional after the heavy rains, according to Transport Office in the district.
The people are therefore bound to use stones and logs to avoid mud on the roadway along Amargadhi Municipality.
The people visiting district headquarters daily have no option but to negotiate the roads in the sorry state. A local from Nabadurga Municipality-1, Lokendra BK, shared the plight that the people were facing difficulty to reach district headquarters for marketing owing to lack of motorable roads.
