LAMJUNG:- Two houses were swept away by a landslide triggered by incessant rainfall at Madhya Nepal Municipality-6 in the district this morning. Devi Kunwar and Bam Bahadur Kunwar lost their homes to the disaster, said a local Ram Chandra Poudel.
Similarly, four other houses were buried in the disaster. The victims are Shiramani Bhattarai, Deepesh Bhattarai, Yekmaya Dura and Harimaya Pariyar. Until the filing of this report, efforts were underway to clear off the landslide debris with the use of an excavator. As police said 13 families at Ranipokhari and 14 at Lamasoti here have been sent away off their homes by the landslide. They have been relocated to safer places.
