Landslide leaves one killed; two disappeared in Baglung, Nepal


BAGLUNG: Landslide occurred at Tamankhola rural municipality-4, Lammela has left one dead and two disappeared.
Pancha Kumari, 45, spouse of Om Bahadur Sripali, died in the landslide occurred last night, police confirmed.
Likewise, Devendra Sripali’s 70-year-old mother Asari Sripali and 12-year-old son Praveen went missing in the landslide, shared Padma Nepali, Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) of Bongadovan Police Post.
Search for the missing is underway. The landslide rolled down from 150 metres above caused damages to five houses. Locals and police joined hands to rescue six locals who were injured in the landslide.
Preparation is on to send the injured to hospitals. Further details are yet to come.
