LAMJUNG: At least 10 houses have been buried in a landslide in Marsyangdi rural Municipality -1 of Lamjung on wednesday morning.
According, to District Police Officer the landslide was caused by the incessant rainfall from past few days. The DPO Chief DSP Ganga Bahadur Thapa says a team from the nearby area police post has gone to the site for a rescue operation. Some senior officials at the DPO including thapa himself are also heading to the site.
No casuality has been reported so far. It has been reported that some locals had been relocated few days ago considering the immense risk.
