    Landless squatter’s take to streets

    RUPANDEHI: Nepal Landless Squatters’ Organization, Rupandehi has announced district-wide agitation in protest of irregularities surfaced in landless problem resolving commission, survey, land revenue, local body including land management.

    The organization announced its protest program organizing press conference on Sunday.

    The recently formed commission by the government would not resolve the problems of landless squatters, the organization concluded, demanding the scrapping of the existing commission and formation of a new high-level commission ensuring the representation of landless peoples’ organization.

    Organization District Chairperson Siddicharan Bhattarai warned to launch phase-wise agitation if their demands were not addressed within two weeks. RSS
