kAccording to sources near the couple, tensions between both surfaced following Anju’s huge success that labeled her as the top female singer and increased her income substantially.

Her husband, still a struggling singer, however slowly immersed into depressions and outraged by being referred to as the husband of famous singer, claimed sources near the family, began to accuse Anju of infidelity.

The tensions between them did not end here, Manoj left for the United States but failed there also largely and returned within two months. Tensions between them soared to new heights after his return.
Finding himself incompetent in comparison to her successful wife, he began to thrash her for small and negligible and sometimes wild accusations reported family sources.

Frustrated by the continous clashes and baseless accusation from Manoj, on March 11,Anju left for her parents home after being trashed ruthlessly on the previous night by her once ‘beloved’ husband. She is presently living with her brother Gopal and her mother’s house.

The house source said that Anju will not rejoin Manoj.
