Kathmandu, Lalitpur, Bhaktapur resumed administrative service from today

According to the district administration of Kathmandu, new citizenship, copy of citizenship, minor identity card, passport distribution, and recommendation service have started from Tuesday.

N24 Correspondent, KATHMANDU:- Kathmandu, Lalitpur, and Bhaktapur District Administration Offices have resumed all the previously suspended services from today.

The district administration offices of the Kathmandu Valley have brought all the services back into operation from Tuesday following the standards related to public health.

Earlier, district administration offices had suspended all services except emergency due to the outbreak of corona infection.

According to Man Bahadur Budha, administrative officer of the District Administration Office, Kathmandu, the service seekers will be able to attend the service by following the public health standards.

According to the district administration of Kathmandu, new citizenship, copy of citizenship, minor identity card, passport distribution, and recommendation service have started from Tuesday.

Similarly, registration and renewal of arms, registration, and renewal of organizations, registration of newspapers, and other recommendations are also open.

The District Administration Office, Lalitpur, has requested all government and public bodies in the district to make arrangements for regular service from Tuesday.

Residents of Lalitpur will be able to get citizenship, copy, minor identity card, passport, and arms registration renewal service only on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday.

Those residing in Godavari and Mahalakshmi Municipalities will be able to avail of services from the District Administration Office on Thursday and Friday. The service will be provided to other village municipalities on Wednesday, according to the District Administration Office, Lalitpur.

According to the District Administration Offices, it has been facilitated to provide regular services to the municipalities by setting up fences outside the Kathmandu Valley.

Most district administration offices are relaxing the ban. Currently, a restraining order is being issued in 75 districts including Kathmandu Valley.
