Judiciary row should be sorted out internally: leader Dahal

SUDHURPASCHIM:- CPN (Maoist Centre) Chair and former Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has said issues surrounding judiciary should be sorted out within.
Talking to media persons at Dhangadhi Airport in Kailali, the chair of the coalition partner said the alliance expected the role of judiciary itself to resolve the issues, that’s why it had not yet given its official view on the matter.
He went on to say that if judiciary failed to find a way out, the ruling collation would take required steps after a meeting.
He explained that a five-party coordination committee has been in the existence to facilitate the government to function smoothly and efficiently instead of commanding it, adding that the existing alliance would continue till the upcoming elections.
On a different note, the former Prime Minister said Nepal has no policy about not accepting the US assistance and grants and, so he said he during the meeting with the US foreign secretary had talked about the original agreement on the Millennium Challenge Corporation. As he said, “we need convincing responses in regard with questions raised over the MCC.”
In his reply to a journalist query about the possibility of the leadership change in the Sudurpashim Province government, he ruled out such possibility for the time being. He arrived here to inaugurate a newly building for the Bhajani municipality in the district.
