Kathmandu: Rastriya Janamorcha Bagmati Regional Bureau has launched signature campaign from last Sunday against global threat by nuclear power and for the protection of ecology.
Recalling the devastating losses of lives and properties due to tsunami and earthquake at Fukushima, Daichi of Japan in March 11, 2011, the signature collected during the period up to next August 5, 2012 under the campaign initiated on the World Fukushima Day will be submitted to the United Nations, said Rastriya Janamorcha.
At a programme organized Sunday with the slogan ‘Lets wage struggle against global threat by nuclear power’, Rastriya Janamorcha General Secretary Santa Bahadur Nepali stressed the need to launch strong protest against the nuclear plants operated by imperialist forces for their own vested advantages.
Likewise, General Secretary of Janamorcha Nepal, another party, Sadhya Bahadur Bhandari pointed out the need to stand together to protest the growing tendency of suppressing poor countries by amassing nuclear forces. RSS
