Dosseldorf :- Belgium forward Romelu Lukalu has played a decisive role in helping Inter Milan reach the semi-finals of the Europea League on Monday. In his best performance, Inter beat Bayer Leverkusen by 2-1.
Niccolo Barela gave Inter an early lead in the 15th minute. Six minutes later, Belgium’s Lukaku added the second goal. Kai Harbhajan scored a goal for the German team.
Lukalu has scored in the ninth consecutive game in the Europea League and is the first player to achieve such a feat. Inter’s rivals in the last four will now be determined by a game between Sakhtar Donetsk and FC Basel on Tuesday.
