
NEW DELHI:- India’s COVID-19 tally rose to 41,803,318 on Thursday, as 172,433 new cases were registered during the past 24 hours across the country, showed the federal health ministry’s latest data.
Besides, 1,008 deaths were recorded since Wednesday morning, taking the death toll to 498,983. Currently there are 1,533,921 active cases in the country, with a decrease of 87,682 during the period. This was the 10th consecutive day when the number of active cases declined in the country.
A total of 39,770,414 people have recovered and been discharged from hospitals so far, with 259,107 new recoveries. (Xinhua)
